Quail Run has an awesome after school program, great math teachers, school lunch kids want to eat and the bus program is a lifesaver. Our family hasn't liked all of the teachers we have had but most of them really care about the students. We love the charter and the hands on activities kids get to do.

This is the third year that we have been at Quail Run. Our initial reason for choosing the school followed the premise that not every child learns the same way. We have appreciated the opportunity our son has to learn the way that he learns best, not in the traditional sense where he sits in one desk all day long.
We love having teachers that specialize in the subjects, teaching those subjects all day to all of the students as they rotate from classroom to classroom. This gives the teacher the opportunity to teach the subjects that they have the passion for at various levels rather than relying on one teacher to teach the same children all day, every subject (some that they are not interested in teaching). The kids are exposed to technology and various methods of learning that we never had in a traditional setting.
We appreciate the environmental focus of the school and the bus system. We have a school garden that the kids walk by everyday. They are able to see the food grow and have it prepared for their lunches or snacks.
I appreciate that we have more of a voice as parents at the school. We can be as involved as we want to be. In fact, it is encouraged! The Board has a parent representative that is voted in by the parents of the school. The more the parents have been involved, the better it gets.
To be fair and honest, the first two years were bumpy and didn't go as well as some of us wanted them to. It was to be expected given that the school was ENTIRELY new. It has come a long way and this year has started off very well. The staff is settled and the kids are learning! We have seen people come back who have left the school because their kids were happy at our school. The charter is coming to fruition and the evolution of the school has been an honor to be part of and every effort we have made towards it has been worth it. Everyone there knows that there is room to grow and they work hard to improve every day.

In the time I have been employed with Quail Run Primary School I have been so impressed with all that the school has to offer to the students who attend. Each student receives personalized, individual academic attention due to the small class sizes which allows the students to learn in grow in their own unique learning ways. Quail Run Primary School also provides a non-traditional school day schedule where all grade levels travel around to a different classroom for each subject area. There are specialty teachers who specialize in and teach each of the subject areas, therefore, students are receiving a quality education from experts in each subject. The arts are introduced to students at a young age at this school including music, threatre, visual arts, and dance. Quail Run also introduces languages such as spanish and ASL to students starting in the lower grades. I see a difference in the children who attend this school; they become well rounded and diverse individuals who begin to love learning and exploring all the world has to offer. I highly recommend Quail Run Primary School for its unique and diverse educational environment.

This is my second year teaching at Quail Run and this school year has been AMAZING! The staff this year is so pleasant and creative which makes creating lessons that cross curriculum fun and easy. It is such a great experience to be able to teach the subject that I love in a way that is exciting and innovative. It is a relief that the school encourages us to reach all learning types and is structured to do so. I love my job!

This is a horrible school. There is no research-based curriculum, parents are not encouraged to be involved and teacher turnover is extremely high. My child learned hardly anything whild she attended. She even had to do summer math tutoring to get back to grade level. The math teachers were horrible, very hard to work with and they refused to ever show me my childs work. Don't waste your time with this school.

I have loved my experience at Quail Run! The administration works sooo hard to help things run smoothly. The teachers have such positive attitudes and I love how they collaborate with each other to figure out ways to teach the best way for the kids. What drew me to this school was their active-learning approach because I really do believe we all learn best by doing. I also like the idea of integrating the different subjects because that helps kids (and adults...) to make meaningful connections.

Quail Run is an excellent school. They have a wonderful academic program that focus'' on hands-on-learning. Not all students learn the same and at Quail run, they know that. They do their best to teach each child in their way. They have music classes, art classes, and even dance. Mon-Thurs, they also have enrichment classes! Bring your student here, they will love it.

Quail Run's approach to education is a breath of fresh air! As a teacher, I was attracted to this school because of its emphasis on hands-on and inquiry-based learning. This approach gives students more responsibility for their own learning and gives a chance for non-traditional learners to meet with success.
Quail Run also has an excellent art and extra-curricular program. As part of their school experience, all students participate in dance, art, music and drama, which is another way the needs of various types of learners can be met. A product of much arts education myself, I am a big advocate for the arts in education. They encourage critical thinking and social skills in a way other subjects cannot.

I''ve taught at other schools and chose to come to Quail Run for several reasons. I appreciate the encouragement to do a large variety of activities that promote learning for all types of learners. The class sizes are smaller which allows me the opportunity to work with each student individually on a daily basis. The students are respectful and excited about learning. The staff and administration work as a TEAM to provide a quality education for every student. Parents are supportive and share their time and resources. Oh, that there were more schools like Quail Run so more children could have an exciting and effective educational experience!

Quail Run is a fabulous school! There is a lot of hands-on learning, and students often have the chance to move around. All grades have the opportunity to go to art and music classes. The school also offers after school enrichment classes four days a week that cover all sorts of things like cooking, art, reading, music, and many others! It's a great place to send your kids!

DO NOT send your children to CGA! We spend three years going from bad to worse. Any good things that the school proclaims are not followed through on. Huge classroom sizes, no classroom structure, rampant bullying, and limited extra curricular activities just to name a few. The garden and outside of the classroom experiences that they tout during tours are non-existent during the year.
