Thank you everyone comments have been helpful, but I see a lot of comments from 8th graders as if this was a task asked of the students at some point. Im thinking of sending my child here and I have some of the same concerns as the comment left by Jeanette. Are there bussing, for someone who lives 238th in Bailey avenue? how is the staff? crime/bullying history? I tried calling 244 about transportation and I was told this information cant be provided to me in advance and instead emphasis was put on whether or not my child is in special education or not because if so this will guaranteed my child to be entitled to bussing not based on his address. How in the world can a parent make an educated decision on what school to send their child if information asked is not given? Can anyone answer to my concerns, because not even the dept of pupil transportation can answer my questions...

I have been at this school for 3 years and never have I felt so empowered to embrace my personality elsewhere. This school has helped me get into the best highschools so now I have options of where to go. I truly feel that whomever let's there child attend this school is making the best choice for him/her.
