The school has an extremely high teacher turnover. Administrators are reluctant to implement an effective discipline policy subsequently student misbehavior and disrespect is rampant. They do offer a music, art and limited sports activities for students.

This school is amazing. In 2014-2016 I'm going they. When I went to the 5th grade orientation in May.15 2014 I love it. I can't wait for Aug.18,2014 to start school. every time I come from school I always go to the computer to discoveryacademy.org. But mostly I can not wait for the discovery academy of lake Alfred change because it's in 2013-2014. What I want is it to be in 2014-2015 cause in the summer I'm going to take 2 hour on the computer so can find what is it about.

This is a great school. My son is in 8th grade and during all three years at Discovery, he has had straight As. The teachers are engaging and interested in the students, email and they respond quickly. The couselors and prinicipal are very involved and it feels like a private school education. I feel very lucky that my son attends this school and never worry about his safety when he's there.
