Not the the best school for a gifted child. The teachers do not relate well to the children - no connection or understanding of what a gifted child requires. The administration is not friendly nor do they communicate well with parents.

I concur with the first review. My child was there for eight years. (We had no alternative.) Most of the teachers are mediocre. Creativity, intellectual and artistic, was not rewarded. School focus became increasingly Afro-centric over the years, to the total exclusion of any other cultures.

My son has been a student at Lenart for a couple of years. He loves it here! There are roughly 290 students enrolled for the 2017-2018 school year. There's one class of each grade except for 2 classes of preschool. The environment at the school is safe, friendly,and welcoming. The students are kind and smart. The school is small enough that the staff and teachers know the names of all the students while large enough that the kids can enjoy the ethnic diversity. There's an active parent community group striving to make the school an even better place for our kids.
